December 2010 was the month that Dad, Tony was diagnosed with Motor Nuerone Disease, the day the family knew that Christmas 2010 had to be very special! Dad being the brave courageous happy go lucky man informed us by holding his hand up showing us 4 fingers and a thumb he was saying I have 5 years in left and that he had to go sometime! We all knew Dad was ill but never dreamt it was MND! Our Dad a hard working man until November 2010 to have this cruel heart wrenching disease why? After loosing his speech, being unable to swollow and eat food struggle with his breathing Dad never ever complained instead he would hold our hands, give us a hug, always smile and have a giggle he was determined to the end! A very amazing brave man that battled MND in his very own courageous way! Even when in hospital waving and thumbs up to other patients in the ward to ensure they were ok too! A kind caring happy man that will never be forgotten by the ones he loved and the ones that loved him back!
